Newborn Photography in Fresno, CA

It’s amazing what you can learn about someone during a short 2-3hour visit. One thing I learn from my parents is that they all have the same concerns regarding their baby’s newborn session:

  1. I don’t want to be in the pictures, I look tired, nothing fits me (Everybody’s tired, you just had a new baby, get in the picture, photoshop is amazing!).
  2. He/She is going to be fussy or cry (All babies can be fussy/cry, that is how they communicate).
  3. What if he/she poops or pees during the session? (Pretty much guaranteed!)
  4. What if my baby doesn’t sleep and the photographer can’t get the poses I want (All babies go through sleep cycles. Some longer than others. It’s ok, if baby is awake. It gives me an opportunity for them to take in their surroundings and for me to capture their beautiful eyes. See for yourself below…

I aim to a create an environment for your baby that is warm, soothing, and comfortable for them. Much like their home in the womb. The studio is kept very warm (85 degrees +/-). You’ll hear my baby shusher which is very similar to the whooshing sounds your baby is used to. And you’ll be able to sit back and relax… maybe even take a nap.
