I am so grateful that I am able to capture these moments, ever so fleeting, so that they may be remembered for years to come. It’s not about the smile, or the pose, or the outfit, or the perfect image. Those do play a small part. But what it’s really about is how you feel when you look at that picture. How it warms your heart and soul, and brings a slight smile to your cheeks. All because you remember. You remember how it felt to hold them in your arms for the very first time. You remember their tiny little hands and itty bitty toes. Their sleepy smiles, and silly faces. You can still feel them snuggling in on your chest because you are their safe place. You remember! That, my friends, is what’s important. That is why I do what I do. So amidst the hustle and bustle of our crazy busy day to day lives, you can glance at that picture and remember.
